Excellent service! The two gentlemen who came out for our job were friendly, efficient, and incredibly thorough. I was very impressed with their professionalism and attention to detail. I’ll definitely be calling this company for all of our future plumbing needs!

I recently contacted Joel from Illinois Sewer & Drain Inc. for changing my shut-off valve. My service was urgent because I had to install a new washer from Costco. One thing I especially liked about his service is getting a good estimate even before he came to my house. He asked me to share photos of the place/valve, which quickly helped him to estimate time and cost. This also helped him to understand the issue and gave me the appointment within 2 hours. He arrived on time and was very professional. Area was left very clean after the service. I was so impressed by the professionalism and speed that I ended up getting additional work done which I had not planned (replacing my leaking garden faucet). He offered me a good deal and I was very impressed with overall service. I will recommend him for any of your plumbing work.

A++++++++++ Will never use any other company for our plumbing needs. We happened upon IS&D in 2022 when we were getting a second opinion on a clogged pipe. Another company that shall remain nameless put a camera down and gave us a horror story of a tree root going through the clay pipe, stating the only way to unclog our drain was to dig up our yard and sidewalk to get to the problem. We had previously replaced the clay pipe in our front yard to the sidewalk but not from the sidewalk to the main line. We 'thought' this was the Village's responsibility, only to find out that though it was in the parkway, and their tree, their section between the sidewalk to the middle of the street, we as homeowners were responsible for maintenance and repairs. The quote given by the 'other' company was $5,500. They said we had to act fast before that price went up. Nope!!! I thank God for our second opinion. IS&D was able to see the tree root in question and did say that if we 'chose' to fix it they would supply a quote, but that they could alleviate the current stopped-up drain for a minimal charge to keep us going for awhile. They rotted a hole through the middle of the root, which restored our drainage. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, our drains weren't clogged, just slow, so I called and scheduled an appointment with Jennifer to have them come out yesterday between 4-5 p.m. There was a tiny mix-up in scheduling, but Jen was able to reach her team and had them out within the hour. Darren and Jeff were polite, clean, and efficient. Jeff rotted the pipe and let us know the root had just started to branch out again and recommended their services every year or two to keep it at bay (in lieu of the full costly repair at this time). Darren worked inside the home and checked our kitchen, bathtub, and vanity. He gave us some cleaning tips (and not the baking soda and vinegar trick that I read online...can't always believe what you read, LOL) They were there and gone within a half hour and also used the $99 coupon I found. If you're looking for a reputable, honest, and great plumbing company look no further. Try second and third opinions if you must, but I can probably guarantee that you'll want to use IS&D moving forward. No more second opinions for us, they have our business for life! 06/07/25 Saturday - updated review Shower completely was clogged. Spoke with Jennifer at 9 a.m. and they had someone at my house at 4 p.m. I didn't catch his name, but he was very professional and courteous. Rodded the drain quickly and was on his way. We will ALWAYS use IS&D for our plumbing needs! Thanks again, A+++++ 👍
